OK. Whether you're starting from scratch, or if you're starting over from failed attempts at losing the pounds and getting fit; Take a deep breath, you'll get through.
First things first
1. Edible Trash - No one is going to lose weight if you are:
- drinking soda or juices.
- eating candy or sweet.
- having fried or factory produced foods.
If your coming to this journey already avoiding these edible trash foods, you've come a long way.
2. Hydration vs. Sodium vs. Potassium
Drink a lot of water, at least a gallon a day. Drinking water in combination with cutting sodium (salt) and eating high potassium foods, will allow your body to shed weight held from water retention.
Foods with potassium: tomato paste, beet greens, white beans, spinach, oranges and bananas.
3. Carb Cut-Out
After 4 weeks, if little/no improvement, in addition to the above steps
4. Sugar Breakdown
Cut sugar completely. This will put your body in a state of ketosis, the body will break down your fat cells to use the the sugar stored within.
Take the time to do this.
Take note:
Your body WILL change.
Your regularity WILL change.
You WILL feel light headed and weak at times.
